During a sunset like this one, it is easy to picture the return of the Lord - but is that what the coming of His Kingdom means. Well, yes it does, because this is the return of the King Himself to reign over His Kingdom. But, it also means so much more than this…
The Kingdom has come - in every heart that has enthroned Jesus as Lord.
His Kingdom is coming - as sectors of society and then nations come under His Lordship.
Then His Kingdom will come - when Jesus returns.
Parts 1 and 2 are in our hands as we share the Good News of the Kingdom with those around us and in the nations.
Ultimately this will facilitate the early return of the Lord, when this Good News has been established in every people group on earth.
Let’s get the job done, then we can say with true conviction…
“Even so, come Lord Jesus!
